Alex Rodriguez is set to take on a new chapter in his life within the next few days. Every Yankees fan has been waiting for months on a decision on his fate for the 2014 season. How fitting the decision comes around the time the Hall of Fame is set to induct the most players ever in one time to the Hall of Fame. A place Alex Rodriguez even though performance enhanced drug or not deserves to be. This issue feels like it has been going on forever. Since 2008 to be exact. Ever since the day I am excited for an outcome. I am torn between which way to go with this. At this time Alex is the Yankees best bet at third base since he is above average defensively and relatively has the best productive bat out there. But then again, Yankees wont be hesitate to spend more money elsewhere if he is suspended  and that seems like the way it might go. For instance, look at what happened with Cano, if the Yankees spend money on Cano I feel the Yankees would of not even gave Tanakua a look. But since Cano left to go to his ridiculously hard to say no offer, Yankees had money coming off the books this year and that just added incentive to go out and spend more on free agents in which they did very mightily. So now it comes time. Finally. The ride weve been on for the last 5 months has been a  back and forth episode of court walk outs and calling out to MLB commissioners like Tommy did to Rocky in the awful Rocky 5. Alex loves the attention. When the 10th arrives(if sooner) we will finally get an idea where Alex presence will be heard in 2014. Will it be joining the Yankees for their quest for their 28th World Series Championship? Or will it be going to Jay-Z concerts throughout year and tweeting about it?
